"I’m Michelle, a New Zealander by birth, a traveler by nature and an artist by instinct. Having spent nearly half my life abroad, I’ve gathered a world of inspiration, studying design, textiles before carving out a career in film and commercials.

Creativity has always been at the core of what I do. Over the years, I’ve worked with kiln-formed glass, paint, clay, textiles and interiors – if it’s tactile and expressive, I’ve explored it. Since returning to Aotearoa, my focus has been on mixed-media painting, blending layers, textures and ideas into works that tell a story.

Between painting, raising my son, and wrangling two cheeky and beautiful whippets, life is never dull and neither is the inspiration.
